How do you go from uni graduate to leading man on London's West End? I sat down with Australian musical theatre star Josh Piterman, who has played the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, Jean Valjean in Les Misérables and Tony in West Side Story.

Josh walks me through the reps it took, from 20 shows a week at Tokyo Disney to the Nessun Dorma he sang at the Sydney Opera House, which Andrew Lloyd Webber saw. We get into his six Ps for auditions, the panic attacks that made him quit in 2013, the hypnosis session that showed him his abandonment wound, and the throat injury and surgeries he came back from to sing again.

He also shares why perfectionism is a trap, and why your social media self is a role you play, not who you are.
